When apple season fever takes a hold of us, we revisit the great fall classics, adding small caffeinated twists of course. This recipe for Oatbox espresso oatmeal apple crumble pairs perfectly with a smooth latte made with our Fall Blend or one (or two) scoops of delicious vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients

7 to 8 medium-sized peeled and diced apples. For this recipe, we really like using Paula Red, Lobo, or Cortland apples.

1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup whole wheat or all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cup Caffe Latte Oatmeal

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup melted butter

Garnish with creamy espresso caramel (optional)
Directions

In a large bowl, mix the pieces of diced apple with the cinnamon and lemon juice.

Spread the apple mixture in the bottom of an ovenproof baking dish.

In another bowl, mix the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter.

Pour the crumble mixture on top of the apples in the baking dish.

Bake the crumble in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 °F.

When the crumble is removed from the oven, drizzle the creamy espresso caramel on top of the crumble to add a festive touch to the dessert.
