About Barista

Founded in Montreal in 2004, Barista Microtorréfacteur is part of the fourth wave of coffee in Quebec. Its story begins with a long-standing friendship between the two co-founders, Alex Sereno and Enrico Serena. Passionate coffee lovers, they embarked on their adventure with strengths that complemented each other perfectly. Enrico is the craftsman, while Alex is the communicator! Their team is also joined by Laurent Cugno, whose talent for business development and management is unquestionable. Through the years, the successes, the challenges and the trials, together they have won the bet to offer a high-quality product - slow-roasted coffee inspired by the Italian tradition - for true espresso lovers.

Over the years, Barista has seen the emergence of a formidable production team, an attentive and efficient customer service department, coffee experts and equipment specialists, a creative marketing department and a team of seasoned baristas without whom it would be impossible to achieve our mission. With us, it's all about heart and teamwork.
