We all know the fall classic, the pumpkin spice latte, but fall also means apple season and we wanted to try a spiced latte where this crunchable fruit is the star of the show. The result is so delicious, we couldn’t stop ourselves from sharing the recipe with you!

You can make this apple cinnamon latte with your espresso blend of choice. We chose to make it with our Fall Blend which is smooth, lightly spiced, and comforting all at the same time. A perfect pairing!

Apple Cinnamon Syrup

This recipe makes enough syrup for 15 lattes.

Syrup ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 5 to 6 Quebec apples of the brand of your choice, seeded and cut into quarters. For this recipe we really like McIntosh and Cortland apples.

Syrup Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, add the sliced apples, water, brown sugar, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, mixing the ingredients together as needed, then reduce heat and let the ingredients simmer.

  3. Let simmer for a few minutes or until the apples are nice and soft and the syrup thickens.

  4. Turn off the heat and blend the syrup and apples until well combined.

The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for 5 days in a sealed container. Just be sure to mix well before each use.
