Le rituel de la pause-café en télétravail - Café Barista

Working from home comes with many benefits, from not getting stuck in traffic in the mornings, to attending meetings in your pyjama bottoms or your finest loungewear set, or by simply having your preferred lunch on hand! However, sometimes we can forget to eat or take breaks, and since taking coffee breaks is such an important part of anyone’s work routine, for mind body and soul, we have decided to put together a few ideas to transform those quick coffee breaks into nice little coffee moments. You can take as many as you want for yourself during your remote work days!

Start the Day Practicing Latte Art

There is no better way to start your day off on the right foot than by enjoying a hot and comforting coffee! If you’re a fan of lattes, then why not take a moment before sitting down in front of your computer to practice your favourite latte art design! Whether it is the heart, the rosetta, or the tulip, choose your favourite espresso blend and get out your frothing pitcher to have some fun!

If lattes aren’t your cup of tea, so to speak, then just take the time to properly prepare whatever beverage brings an immediate smile to your face; whether that’s a filter coffee, a cappuccino, a flat white, or an espresso!

Prepare your Cold Brew in Advance Over the Weekend

Does iced coffee equal happiness for you? No problem! Make the most of your coffee breaks by preparing your cold brew concentrate in advance over the weekend. That way, all you have to do is add ice, a little water, and some milk to one part cold brew concentrate, and you can have an iced coffee ready in just a few seconds.

Enjoy a Coffee in the Sun

It’s so nice not to have to commute while working from home, but it’s important not to forget to go outside for at least a little bit to get some fresh air and clear your mind. And what pairs better with a short break in the sun, or a lunchtime walk, then a great coffee?

Virtual Coffee Break with Co-Workers

In all workplaces the coffee machine is a gathering place, and sometimes when working remotely we miss getting together to talk about our weekends, our new passions, or just to catch up on the hottest new show! If you’re in this situation, why not schedule a virtual coffee break with your co-workers whenever works for you, so you can continue to enjoy this precious routine of sharing with a cup of coffee in hand.

An End-of-Day Decaf Coffee Break

At the end of the day, sometimes it can be difficult to find the motivation to finish all the tasks on your list, and that’s why we should never forget to take an afternoon coffee break! However, for many, having caffeine at the end of the day does not align with a peaceful night’s sleep! This is why we recommend that you always keep a bag of decaffeinated coffee on hand.

Finally, whether you prefer espresso or filter coffee, the most important thing while working remotely is to make sure you NEVER run out of coffee, because a day without coffee is, in a word…CATASTROPHIC! If you agree with this then you need to check out our MyCoffee subscription! Take advantage of our always fresh coffee, delivered right to your door, and with no commitment. You can change all your selected options (delivery frequency, products, types of coffee, etc.) and also enjoy a 15% discount on all your recurring coffee orders!
