Recipe for Cinnamon Coffee Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/8 cup finely ground coffee
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • Brioche dough

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cream

Steps

Preparing the topping

  1. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and ground coffee.
  2. Add softened butter and mix until smooth.

Assembling the buns

  1. Spread filling on brioche dough.
  2. Roll up dough and cut into rounds.
  3. Place slices in a baking dish.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  5. Bake brioches for 20-25 minutes.

    To prepare the glaze

    1. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract and cream until smooth.

    Finishing

    1. Once baked, remove from oven and drizzle with glaze.
    2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
