Each of our "signature" espresso blends has unique characteristics that make them deliciously different. Native to various countries and regions, they are distinguished by their intensity, bitterness and their own tasting notes. Their uniqueness invites us to savour each of them in a specific way to appreciate them fully. Today, we answer the question: "How to enjoy the Autentico?" Here we go!

Characteristics of the blend

🌍 Highlighted origin: Peru
🔥 Roasting: medium-dark
🌸 Tasting notes: Milk and balanced chocolate

The Autentico is our first espresso blend created in 2004 when Barista was founded. It is the ideal starter to discover espresso in the most classic way. Mainly from Peru and medium-dark roasted, it offers balanced tasting notes, as well as a pleasant chocolatey side.

How to drink the Autentico

The Autentico is perfect for those who want to get started with espresso, thanks to its beautiful balance and well-rounded profile. Its richness is pronounced but moderate, making it an ideal choice for beginners in coffee tasting.

For an optimal experience, the Autentico is particularly well-suited for caffeinated drinks based on double espresso, such as flat white and cortado. Its creamy texture and roundness blend perfectly with milk and microfoam, offering a smooth and delicious taste.
