We featured this drink on episode 47 of the Café Show, on the special oat milk episode, and now you can make it right at home; we are of course talking about the delectable lavender mocha (which also has a hot chocolate version)! This caffeinated drink is packed with calming chocolatey flavour that is sure to delight!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. lavender syrup

  • 20 g chocolate ganache

  • 2 oz. double espresso (omit for a simple hot chocolate)

  • 5 oz. Barista oat beverage

  • Nutmeg

  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Pour the lavender syrup into the bottom of the cup.

  2. Add the chocolate ganache.

  3. Pour the double espresso over the chocolate ganache to melt it (for hot chocolate, microwave for 10 seconds to melt the chocolate ganache without making a mess).

  4. Heat the oat milk with a steam wand, milk frother, or microwave.

  5. Sprinkle nutmeg and cocoa powder over the drink.

Voila, it’s ready; time to enjoy! Warning: you might end up with a milk mustache!
