Barista triathlon team

BARISTA has selected 6, up-and-coming Quebec triathletes to proudly wear its corporate colours and take advantage of a sponsorship program similar to the one offered to our coffee ambassadors.

Alex Sereno, co-founder of Barista and coach for international triathlon competitions, will spearhead the new team of professional athletes.

A few words about the coach

Alex Sereno focuses most of his energy on Barista, but since 1991, he has also dedicated part of his time to another passion – coaching. For close to 2 years, he has been training young people participating in the preparation for the Winnipeg 2017 Canada Games. After the launch of the Podium Ambassador program, it was only a question of time before a triathlon team bearing the Barista brand saw the light of day!

Alex Sereno considers himself more than a coach, but, in fact, a teacher. When he is working with Canadian championship medalists, his Olympic athlete (Kathy Tremblay, London 2012) and the many other national athletes who have participated in major competitions, he advocates a pedagogical approach. Through his coaching, he shares his knowledge and his values with them, at the same time setting the bar high. In fact, this is what motivated him to initially create a team of young triathletes.

Capitale Triathlon
