Venice – Venezia – is home to the very first roasting houses dating back to the 17th century. The manner in which coffee is drunk has since evolved one hundredfold, but the traditional Venetian method of roasting espresso beans has remained entrenched in the culture. Our Venezia 1645 is our way of honouring these Italian master roasters, whose know-how has been passed down from one generation to another for some 400 years.
