J’aime mon café is a special week dedicated to independent cafes in Quebec. Launched in 2016, it aims to promote and showcase local cafes and coffee artisans, while giving them the opportunity to thank their clients. During its first year, the event attracted over 130 cafes, roasters and roasting houses from Montreal (Cafellini, Larue & Fils, Lili & Oli) to Saguenay (L’Érudit Café). The 2017 edition promises to be even more exciting. Stay tuned!
Coffee is more than just a morning pick-me-up. It’s a culinary delight. A great meal always ends with a great cup of coffee! Our passion for everything gourmet is equalled only by our love for communications and local products, which together have led to the creation of On s’en food, a unique media platform for foodies. Meet Quebec artisans and forward-thinkers through our seven Web TV channels, our podcasts by food commentators and our collection of gourmet recipes and articles.
Since its very beginning, Barista has made amateur and professional sports an integral part of its corporate culture. One of its cofounders, Alex Sereno, continues to train triathletes, making it only natural for the company to support and be involved in sports. The Coffee Ambassador Program was developed to continue providing financial support to elite athletes
Here are our espresso recipes developed for public personalities associated with Barista: Jessica Harnois, renowned sommelier, and Bobby Bazini, Quebec singer/songwriter.

Umanita is Barista’s social economy project. It allows us to stay connected with our community, in the broadest sense of the word, both at the local level in our own borough of Ahunstic-Cartierville and across the province. As part of this project, we make special espresso blends bearing the image of a non-profit organization (for example, we work with La Corbeille and Robin des bois. We also offer services and coffee to organizations in our area, including Le Phare Enfants et familles and L’Arche Beloeil.
